From the crazy power apart is the GTX 480 the fastest graphics card in the world and it seems like, there shall soon be a notebook version. In June, these are already on the market.

The first devices shall possibly not come low-cost – but they are gaming machines anyway not at all (be it laptop or desktop). How do we know that it shall soon be a mobile version? Eurocom has betrayed himself and is listed on the site in the choice a GeForce GTX 480M.

We can merely speculate, but the following is quite certain: The power consumption shall be yet very high. In addition, the card is possibly merely used in notebook computers with a minimum size of 17 inches – something else would be rubbish. Such devices are referred to as a desktop replacement, and can be used as weights the way for the everyday workout. Nevertheless, they are portable and that such a Power card in conjunction with a Core i7 processor should build every notebook legs.

The first cards shall come in about a month – judging by Eurocom.

Oh and the card in the opening image is of course not the 480M, but a mundane GTX 480M.
